The Bohemians

THE BOHEMIANS operates on a very limited budget. Our only regular source of income is what is received in very minimal Membership Dues. Additional small sums are occasionally received as contributions from non-member guests who may attend a concert evening.

Once in a while we are fortunate to receive a bequest from an individual who has included the organization in his or her will, and we also receive an occasional donation from persons who are familiar with the activities of the club, and wish to support our efforts.

Like so many other similar organizations, as the number of members decrease, the expenses continue to increase. In addition to the far-too-small honorarium payments to our performing artists, we rent the facilities of the Kosciuszko Foundation, pay for printing, postage and upkeep of our records, maintain mandatory insurance, operate our new website, serve delicious refreshments after the concert portion of the evening and meet all sorts of other sundry expenses.

It is vital that we ask our members and supporters to help meet these costs to whatever degree may be comfortable and possible. All contributions are fully tax-exempt by law.

If you would care to make a contribution, please write your check or money order payable to THE BOHEMIANS and send it to our Treasurer, George R. Hill, at Post Office Box 369, Bergenfield, NJ 07621-0369.

Please be sure to include your name and address (either postal or email or both) so that we may acknowledge your gift. Your receipt from us will also serve you well as proof of the deduction when you are preparing your tax returns.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
